Mazarron & the surrounding areas

Mazarron, the ancient mining township that lies close to the Residencia Campo Sol development is located centrally along the Costa Calida. The warm coast. Within 3 kilometers there is the seaside resort town of Puerto de Mazarron with its excellent beaches fascinating natural rock formations and busy nautical activities. Fishing, scuba diving, cave diving in the transparent waters and sailing are popular activities. There are also excellent hotels and a lively nightlife.

Residencia Campo Sol, has been expanding rapidly since the 1980's, with attractive affordable properties and will, by late spring 2002, have its own eighteen hole golf course in addition to public gardens. It has its own commercial areas providing shopping, bar and restaurant facilities.

Access to Murcia (St. Javier) and Alicante airports is roughly 40 and 100 minutes away. The city of Cartegena lies to the north and offers excellent shopping facilities. Murcia is a particularly attractive city and is generally considered to be very chic.

The Club de Golf de la Manga is along the coast to the north, and has three 18 hole golf courses.
